Alien Skin has filed a police case against fellow artist Pallaso following the Thursday morning raid at his Fangone Firest residence by the latter.
Police in Kampala confirmed that Skin filed the complaint, although the Fangone singer had initially denied going to police.
“I confirm that the matter has been reported by him (Alien Skin) and is currently under investigation,” said Kampala Metropolitan Police spokesman Luke Owoyesigire.
Colossal damage
Alien had his residence attacked early Thursday morning by a group of armed assailants led by singer Pallaso.
The group caused a lot of damage to the house, although there were no reported injuries.
They among others shattered glass windows, ransacked the home and destroyed the Fangone CEO’s vehicles.
The attack is believed to have been in response to an earlier one by by Alien’s squad, which beat up Pallaso the previous night while he performed at the Empere festival.
The Police issued a generic testament in the wake of the incident, condemning “a trend among musicians who are utilising gangs to intimidate one another, leading to disorder and chaos at public events.”
The Police described the behaviour as “unacceptable” and vowed to hold those involved responsible.
