The State Minister for Children and Youth Affairs, Balaam Barugahara, issued a warning to music promoter Bajjo regarding Full Figure after Bajjo shared pictures admiring singer Laika.
Taking to X (formerly Twitter), Bajjo, whose real name is Alfonse Mukasa, posted four pictures of Laika, captioning them: "The fact is, this woman is the most beautiful artist in Uganda. She is every man's dream. She is my dream too. At the age of 35, I need to settle down. If given a chance, she will be my last dream of my soul. Who envies me? Be real, comrades."
In response, Barugahara commented on the post: "Am scared my boss Madam Full Figure may beat her bambi."
Bajjo, who shares a child with Full Figure, replied to Barugahara: "Ate best man oleeta obuugi mubbaala. Zino nsonga zabakazzi sizabasajja. Full figure alinde basajja bane."
Some commenters jokingly suggested that Barugahara’s comment carried a personal undertone.
It is worth recalling that Barugahara recently cut short a press briefing after being interrupted by Bajjo. During the event, Bajjo stood next to the minister and began shouting about unrelated matters, visibly frustrating Barugahara, who eventually walked away in annoyance.
Barugahara and Bajjo share a long-standing friendship, characterised by playful banter both online and offline. However, Bajjo appears to have overlooked the fact that Barugahara’s recent government appointment requires a certain level of decorum in professional settings.
Having spent most of his career as a businessman, Barugahara was appointed minister in March 2024. While embracing his new role, he has retained elements of his casual persona, largely due to his ongoing engagement with youth-related initiatives and business ventures.
