The Former Route Entertainment singer, who brought you songs such as Bwolwawo, Timango, Leero and many others, says although she’s still active in music, a side hustle she started is proving much more lucrative.

Tendo recently opened up a furniture business to boost her income, but in an interview, she says, it’s now her top priority.

The question about music and business is a tough one. I love my music career; I love it so much, but now I value my furniture business more because financially it is supporting me better, compared to music,” she said.

Asked on whether she was permanently pushing music to the back seat, the Simuta singer emphasised that her focus is now on her side hustle.

I'm not saying I am not earning from music, but when I compare the two, furniture is better.

Tendo also revealed that her business is being supported financially by her finance, Moses Tinsely

The two got engaged in January 2023 in Nairobi, months after she dumped Wakiso Giants proprietor, Musa 'Atagenda' Ssebulime.

Born January 16th 1988 in Kampala, Tendo is a Music Graduate from Kyambogo University.

She was formerly signed to Route Entertainment, but left the music management company amid misunderstandings.

Her most recent single ‘Simuta’ which came out in April 2023, has been enjoying a lot of airplay, and making strides online.
