Who is Irene Ntale?
Irene Ntale is a singer, songwriter, and guitarist who has earned her place as one of Uganda’s most gifted vocalists. With a unique sound blending RnB, reggae, and acoustic soul, she has blessed fans with hits like Kyolowoza, Gukuba, and Stamina Daddy.
Ntale’s talent has led her to collaborate with some of Uganda’s biggest stars, including Jose Chameleone on Easy, Bebe Cool on Love Letter, and Radio & Weasel on the popular track Bikoola.

Born on January 30, 1989, Ntale’s love for music blossomed in high school when she joined her church choir and began learning instruments.
By the age of 16, she was performing with a church band. After studying procurement and logistics management at Kyambogo University, she turned down a job in Mbale to focus entirely on her music career.

Her big break came when a hotel manager discovered her talent during a cover performance at Emin Pasha Hotel, leading to a regular gig. In 2012, Ntale’s rising star caught the attention of Swangz Avenue, and she joined the label in 2013.
Her journey with Swangz Avenue, which ended in 2017, solidified her status as one of Uganda's leading musicians, setting the stage for even greater success in her solo career.
