Businessman Godfrey Kirumira, who is friends with the couple, said she was meant to retire in five years before Covid but the pandemic changed plans.

"Covid did a number on us... we gave her more 10 years to compensate for Covid," said Kirumira. "After 10 years we shall stop her."

Asked why they want her to retire, the city tycoon said: "We want her to take care of the home. She's taken good care of the doctor. He looks good... His beard looks great.

"We thank Rema for taking care of my son, Dr. Sebunya. Dr. Sebunya is also taking care of her."

According to Kirumira, wedding plans are also underway. "We are also planning a public wedding."

Godfrey Kirumuria was non-commital on the date but he said they'll spare no expense.

"Their love grows stronger every day. I've never seen that kind of love," he said.

Meanwhile, Kirumira also revealed that Namakula could be pregnant because she's been vomiting a lot lately.

"My daughter Rema vomits a lot these days," he said. "You may see another child soon."

Asked if she is pregnant, he said: “That’s what I see.”
