In an interview with YouTuber Allan Mutalwa, popularly known as Allan Cruz, Kampala was asked: You are the best-dressed youths?
Kampala: Do you know me? Do you understand me?
Cruz: You really look dope in that outfit!
Kampala: Yeah man, it's the lifestye.
Cruz: Which Ugandan celebrities inspire your fashion style?
Kampala: Eeh... the problem, among Ugandan celebrities, none dresses like me.
In 2021, Solomon Kampala, who is singer Bobi Wine's eldest son, was awarded the Teenz Fashionista of the Year 2021 in the Buzz Teenz Awards. It appears the interview was filmed at that event.
At the event, Zex Bilangilangi, who is a Bobi Wine mentee said that he looks up to Kampala when it comes to fashion.
"I am happy for him and what he has achieved at a young age. He inspires me," Zex said while talking to the media.
At 17, Zex decided to capitalise on his singing talent to help fellow ghetto youngsters and he joined charity work through which he met self-proclaimed Ghetto President Bobi Wine.
Wine had organised a talent search and Bilangilangi participated. Wine enrolled him into his music label Firebase Crew, where he grew to become Ghetto Prime Minister, a position offered by Wine himself.
Zex is still involved in charity and his music career has also crystallised.
Bilangilangi, who has released two albums Yo' alubamu and Hercules 10times, has a number of well-received songs, namely: Ratata, Number Emu, Bad Mind Cant, Nalinda, Time Yo, Inama and Magazine.
Solomon Kampala was born on August 8, 2005, to Wine and Barbie Kyagulanyi.
