Bugingo, the senior pastor of House of Prayer Ministries made a public promise yesterday to tie the knot with his partner after five years of living together.

The wedding, he said, will be one that “has never happened before.

This will be a wedding that you have never seen. Even the venue, we shall have to ask permission from police, weather they give us Namanve of Lwera, but it will have to be a huge venue,” Bugingo pledged to Susan in front of their Sunday congregation.

Separation rumours

The couple appeared together for the first time in weeks, putting to bed rumours that they were no longer together.

The reports had taken root on social media that Bugingo fled his Namayumba mansion amid a bitter split with Makula.

It was also claimed that the pastor had landed himself another lover from Rwanda. In contrast, others alleged on the rumour mill that Mrs Makula had left the country.

Earlier on Saturday, Makula made it clear that the two are still together and in love

Life has been good, and we thank God,” she said,

I have been around taking care of the one he gave me,’” she retorted when asked about her mysterious disappearance from the public.

On whether she was abroad, she said, “I love Uganda. Why would I leave this country? There is no better place to spend money than here.

Makula also had a message for her husband, who simply smiled throughout the interview; “I love you, honey…I just love this guy.”
