Last year, a series of dramatic events rocked the internet after Vanessa came out accusing singer Bruno K of child neglect. At the time, Bruno K was in another relationship.
The unfolding scandal would result in DNA paternity testing, which proved that indeed, Bruno K was the biological father of their boy.
After the dust settled, the couple made it known that they were now on good terms, thanks to the healing power of forgiveness and prayer.

God answered my prayers
Vanessa says she prayed to God to return Bruno K to her life, noting that it was all she wanted.
“I prayed to have him in my life and that is what happened. God has finally answered my prayers and I embrace it. At first, I was scared to get back to him because I feared it would annoy some people if I reconciled with him,” she told The New Vision.
Vanessa, after holding prayers, was surprised when Bruno K called her phone and they let the past slide.
Single friends, bad advice
Vanessa warned against listening to the advice of single friends whom she accused of giving ideas that promote separation rather than reconciliation.
She noted that many are secret admirers of Bruno K.
“Many women admired Bruno and took advantage of him. They want to have his children, but I am a mature woman; I can deal with that, “she added.
Bruno advises women
Bruno K has since released a song in dedication to Vanessa titled ‘Akuzalira Omwana’, loosely translated as ‘One who gives you a child’, in which he praises her for being a good mother.
The singer also recently advised women to stop rushing to the press and social media to reveal their personal issues, noting that the so-called ‘online in-laws’ are looking for nothing but drama and entertainment.
“Instead of coming to social media, find people in your circle to speak to family, elders, and friends. These will be better than us social media in-laws. Fe aba social media in-laws we want violence, we don’t want to help you,” part of his post read.
