Video: Prophet Kakande foresaw Turkey Earthquake?

Pastor Robert Kakande appears to have foretold the deadly earthquake that hit several provinces in Turkey and Syria, killing thousands.

In a video dated June 26, 2022, that's swirling on social media, Kakande says: "There will be a major earthquake in Turkey... it is just going to reappear... it will devastate five cities in Turkey... it will be too much... a deadly earthquake... and there will be another earthquake."

Meanwhile, Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan has announced a three-month state of emergency that will end on May 14.

According to BBC, the death toll in Turkey has risen to 3,549 people and over 1,600 people are reported to have died in Syria.

The World Health Organization (WHO) warned that deaths could dramatically increase as rescuers find more victims.

The 7.8 magnitude tremor struck on Monday at a depth of 17.9km (11 miles) near the city of Gaziantep, according to the US Geological Survey, which also noted that another tremor with a magnitude of 7.5 had its epicentre in the Elbistan district of Kahramanmaras province.

Turkey lies in one of the world's most active earthquake zones.

Meanwhile, Kakande, who heads Synagogue Church of All Nations, is one of the most eccentric pastors in Kampala, as videos of healing from his services have always come across as scenes from a poorly-directed Hollywood movie.

Last year he gave social media some festive season fodder when he said he would charge flock Shs500,000 for a "special touch" on the New Year's Eve service.

“Those who want to enter the new year with a special touch. You come around on 31st, during day,” he said.

“Those who will come for the special touch will pay only 500,000, come many, come all."
