According to King Michael, real name Michael Mugwanya, Chameleone had prepared him for the battle.
He told Mr. Henrie during a Galaxy TV interview that Chameleone, real name Joseph Mayanya, had seen him rise from becoming a bar deejay to a musician who was now constantly booking flights to perform abroad.
"He had told me... Michael, I rarely start wars," said King Michael to Mr. Henrie, "but if you see me start beef with some, know they've become a problem. When he started the war, I knew I had become a problem."
He said he then started looking for ways to avoid beef with the Mama Mia hitmaker, but it appears the war was inevitable.
King Michael said their fights one time got them banned from Club Guvnor for two months said they would fight. One time Chameleone took Michael's shoes and he also retaliated by taking his jacket.
