Hero Beats, who works with Massive Records, one of the biggest studios in western Uganda, produced Kakye Katyo, which was sung by Vally Music.
Vally Music, real name Peter Kanzira, sang the jam so well that King Saha and Pallaso accepted to hit the studio to remix the song.
The remix of Kakye Katyo was produced by Renix and mastered by Herbert Skillz. Skillz also mixed and mastered Cinderella by Rickman Manrick & An-Known.
Renix's biggest song this year has been the remix of Fik Gaza's Banana by Jose Chameleone. He also produced the original version.
The video of the Kakye Katyo remix, which is already above 100k views on YouTube in less than a month, was directed by Dave Thymas Visuals.
Vally Music, who is managed by Lituation Booth, a record label founded by Deejay Crim -- also has other awesome songs like Nkwine Omuritaano and For You (Kibeemereire), which were produced by Kesh Pro at Lituation Booth. Their videos were filmed by Biko.
Meanwhile, Hero Beats also produced Akarija (Hanifah) & Omugango by Nicklee Kembo and Nindeta & Otarinyanga by Famous K.
Beats, who hails from Mbarara, grew up in a family of five and he is the firstborn. He has been in music production for about five years and he has a bachelor's degree in Music, Dance and Drama from Makerere University.
