During an interview, Jazmine said she supports Sheebah because they are friends and they’ve worked together.
"I have a song with Sheebah... she is my close friend... she has reached out to me... we are always together at the Federation…,” said Jazmine.
Asked to comment on Cindy’s attributes, Jazmine said: "When you are not so close to a person, it's hard to describe them... because I'm not close with Cindy but we have met a couple of times. The times we've met. she's been nice to me. I won't lie... she is talented. She is good at live music. She is a good songwriter. even Sheebah acknowledges that.”
Lydia Jazmine is not the first celebrity to pick a side, as Judith Heard picked Cindy.
"We are going to support Cindy. She has proved that you can have both. You can have a career, and you can have children and you can have a husband,” said Heard in a TikTok video, adding: “Some of us failed, so that's why we are excited darling. My darlings, I'm just being honest.”
Judith Heard said she grew up thinking it’s not possible to have both a career and a husband at the same. That you’ve to choose one and focus on it. She confessed that she failed at managing both at a go.
"I grew up knowing that you can't have everything; you can't be successful, you can't have a man, and have kids and a career – you won't manage; decide whether you want a man or a career,” she said.

Cindy and Sheebah Karungi will face off in a music battle on September 15 at Kololo Airstrip in Kampala.
