Hi, welcome back to the weekly top songs series where we look at the new songs by Ugandan artistes.

Sometimes you'll find an old song and that's because the artiste had only released the audio and the video is new.

1. Wakikuba by Sheebah Karungi

Produced by Nessim Pan Production, Wakikuba is Sheebah Karungi first project in 2024. Her latest single was Bwe Paba, a duet with Fik Fameica that was produced by D'Mario and Artin Pro, with a video directed by Jah Live.

For the video of Wakikuba, which is a groovy song, Sheebah Karungi hired renowned music video director Zya Phix whose previous projects include Omumanyi (Feffe Bussi), Ontwala Speed, Oli Wamanyi & Bintwala (Mun G), Guma Bakunyige remix (Mun G & Recho Rey), Ensonga (Carol Nantongo & Kabuye Semboga), Ompuuba (Carol Nantongo), Detergent (Winnie Nwagi), Jangu (Cindy Sanyu), Wantama (B2C, alias Kampala Boys) and Do Me (Spice Diana).

2. Denge by King Perry ft. Joshua Baraka, Marioo & Savara

Denge brought together Nigeria (King Perry), Uganda (Joshua Baraka), Kenya (Savara) and Tanzania (Marioo).

It comes shortly after Baraka releasing the video of Dalilah, a song off Joshua Baraka's latest Extended Play titled Growing Pains, which was released on Tuesday, December 5, 2023.

While the album is three months old, the video of Dalilah, which was directed by Prnz, the filmmaker behind the scintillating visuals of his 2023 smash hit Nana -- was premiered on February 16.

3. Touch and Continue by Elijah Kitaka

Touch and Continue is Elijah Kitaka's first song of 2024. The song, which you will enjoy dancing and listening to was produced by Ghanaian producer Groovy Wurld, who produced Egaali and Outside, among the songs of Azawi's Sankofa album.

The video, which features Joldine Wanyenze as a vixen, was directed by Aaronaire who produced some of the most watch videos in 2023, including 10 over 10 by Azawi, Okwepicha by Gravity, Believe by Dax Vibez and Vinka, Ndabula by Carol Nantongo & B2C, Ndi Wuwo by Elijah Kitaka and Tonyt by Rema Namakula.

4. Totya by Silver Kyagulanyi

 Totya, which was produced at his studio Sikia by Tryton, Nessim, Zulitums, Dan Magic, and Herbert Skills -- is Silver Kyagulanyi's second project coming after Amaanyi Gakola.

Amaanyi Gakol was also recorded at Sikia by Tryton and The Squire. Its beautiful visuals were directed by Simon SPK.

The only available video of Totya is that made using Visualizer.

5. Masavu by Azawi

Azawi is not resting! She is just from releasing the visuals of Summer Bae, her collaboration with Jamaican dancehall icon Konshens.

Before that Tugende Yo, her duet with Viboyo who recently dropped an album was released.

Now we've have the audio of Masavu, which was produced by Bangar Boi, who also recorded the two aforementioned songs.
