The young and talented artist announced that she will be jumping into the parliamentary race in the upcoming 2026 election.
She is seeking to represent the people of Sembabule, her home district.
The Billboard Kipande singer is hoping to secure the party flag for the opposition National Unity Platform (NUP).
“Of course, I am of Bobi Wine’s generation; you have to expect me to be the voice to the voiceless, I want to be there for my people and fight for change,” she said.
“I joined the struggle to seek change because, in all the years I have lived I have never seen change in my country.
“As a young person, I also want to live in a country that I am proud of. I do not want to lie to my fans that because they see me looking good, everything is good.”
Roz did reveal which constituency she will be contesting in.
Sembabule has 5 constituencies, namely; Lwemiyaga which is represented by Theodore Ssekikubo (NRM), Mawogola South represented by Goreth Namugga (NUP), Mawogola North represented by Shartsi Musherure Kutesa (Independent) and Mawogola West represented by Anifa Kawooya Bangirana (NRM) whereas the district woman MP seat is currently held NRM’s Mary Begumi
