Sanyu Robinah Mweruka, a renowned Bukedde TV news anchor, and her husband, Pascal Mweruka, celebrated 15 years of marriage on Sunday, marking the occasion with a traditional ceremony at her parents' home.
The couple, who have been together for 17 years, reflected on their journey during a heartfelt gathering with friends and family.
Pascal Mweruka expressed his gratitude for the strong foundation of their marriage, acknowledging that many people doubted their relationship in its early days.
"Many people doubted whether we would last when we started out dating, but it has been 17 years now, and we are still moving together," he said.

Mr Mweruka clarified that the video was recorded years earlier in 2010 and assured the public that he had seen it multiple times before they tied the knot. He acknowledged that while it was a difficult period, it ultimately strengthened their relationship.
At their anniversary celebration, Pascal thanked Robinah's parents for raising her into the woman she is today, calling her "a perfect woman" and expressing his gratitude for her support and dedication to their family.
"I am so pleased that we gather here to celebrate 15 years in holy marriage," he said, adding that he felt blessed to walk through life with her by his side.
