In a recent interview with NTV, Anne Kansiime opened up about the highs and lows of her life, especially in light of her separation from singer and baby daddy Skylanta. During this moment of reflection, Kansiime, perhaps unknowingly, revealed some of her superhuman abilities. Here are the top three.
Recognising Your Season
Kansiime draws inspiration from the Bible, quoting Ecclesiastes 9:11: “I returned and saw under the sun, that the race is not to the swift, nor the battle to the strong, neither yet bread to the wise, nor yet riches to men of understanding, nor yet favour to men of skill; but time and chance happeneth to them all.”
Relating this to her own life, Kansiime shared how she seized her blessings.
“After my first big gig, I built my mum a house, and later, I built my own. It was challenging because men don’t feel comfortable moving into a woman’s house, but I was in my season of plenty, while he wasn’t. It was only fair to utilise my blessings,” she explained.

Rebuilding
Kansiime has shown remarkable resilience and is not afraid of change. She revealed that after the birth of her son, motherhood took precedence, and her relationship with her husband eventually collapsed. They chose to embrace co-parenting instead.
“The deep romantic connection we once had faded after I had my son because my focus shifted entirely to him. I changed, grew into a different person, and expected him to do the same. It was too much to ask. In the end, we chose to separate and embrace co-parenting,” she said.
Multi-talented
It’s no surprise that Kansiime is a multi-talented individual. Not only is she a comedian, but she is also a singer and designer who stays true to her authentic self.
“I’m a creative soul. I design much of my home decor and even craft my own earrings and clothes. I thrive on good vibes and always make sure to create a life that feels as comfortable and authentic as possible,” she asserted.
