- Sandra Teta named general manager of Goodlyfe Music
- Weasel praises Teta for her support and rehabilitation efforts
- Teta will oversee Weasel's musical career
The singer revealed the news while having a conversation with reporters prior to his upcoming solo performance later this year. Weasel praised Teta for being a source of his rehabilitation and said that she has been his strength during trying times.
“Everything, including my music and house, is under her control. She has my sincere gratitude. Sandra has provided me with real rehabilitation,” he said.
According to Weasel, rehabilitation entails more than just visiting a hospital or even just finding someone with whom you can communicate and who can relate to you.
Teta confirmed that she will be overseeing Weasel's musical career moving forward.
She declared, "I am the overall manager."
She quickly added that she has several responsibilities and has a support structure to help with managing Weasel as an artist.
“I am a mother and wife and I have a lot of responsibilities, but I also have other people who help me. I can’t take charge of things. There is a lot involved in music management; going to studios, shooting videos, getting business deals, and going to concerts. There is a team that drives the Goodlyfe,” she said.
When questioned about reports that Weasel had physically abused her, she refuted the claims and said that her husband was the target.
"Do I appear to be being beaten when they give me a close look? It is untrue," she remarked before continuing.
"People will talk about him a lot because he is a public figure."
Weasel's first solo performance will take place following the passing of his longtime vocal collaborator Mowzey Radio, with whom they collaborated on several successful songs from 2004 until his death in 2018.
