Born in July 1993 in Kikumbo village, Kibibi sub-county, Butambala District in Uganda, Milly has successfully balanced her legal career with her passion for activism, particularly in championing the rights of children and women.
Milly's educational journey served as the foundation for her career. She attended Gombe Standard Primary School and completed her primary education in 2005. She continued her studies at Mpigi Mixed Secondary School for O-Level and Mpigi High School for A-Level. Her dedication and hard work led her to earn a Bachelor of Laws degree, which was awarded by Kampala International University.
During her undergraduate years at Kampala International University, Milly embarked on her journey as a legal assistant at Lubega, Ssaka, and Co. Advocates in 2014. What started as a professional role soon evolved into a calling to make a difference.
Today, Milly is not just a practicing lawyer; she is also the Director for Legal and Women Affairs at Maisha Holistic Africa Foundation, a non-profit organization in Uganda. Her work at the foundation is a testament to her commitment to improving the lives of children and women, particularly those who come from high-risk backgrounds.
Milly's efforts in both the legal field and activism are interconnected. She uses her legal expertise to advocate for the rights of vulnerable groups and provides counseling on critical issues such as human trafficking and modern-day slavery. Her legal career serves as a platform to effect real change in the lives of those who need it most.
