The Catholic Church has a new Pope.
White smoke billowed from the chimney on the Sistine Chapel, signaling that voting process has concluded and the cardinals have chosen a successor to Pope Francis.
We don't yet know who has been selected, but it will become clear when they emerge on the balcony of the Sistine Chapel, likely within the hour.
There was a huge cheer of relief and joy as the white plume of smoke rose from the Sistine Chapel.
After watching the chapel’s chimney for much of the past two days, all eyes will now turn to the main balcony of St. Peter’s Basilica, where the new pope will soon make himself known to the world.
Stick with us and we'll let you know who it is, as soon as we have confirmation.
