The letter, released on Monday, October 21, also confirms the dismissal of her manager, Nash Weiz, from the label.

According to the statement, the termination was mutually agreed upon, citing "unmendable money-related issues" as the cause.

Omega256, known for her hit song This Year, has yet to comment on the situation.

Shamim Mulerwa, popularly known by her stage name Omega256, was born on September 27, 1999 in Kakoba, Mbarara, to parents Juma Kamuhanda and Asiat Kayiraba. Her early education saw her attend St. Mathias Nursery School, followed by Sherlom Keben Primary School, and later Sentah College, where she completed her O-level studies.

Omega256's musical journey began during her Senior Four vacation in 2017 when she discovered her passion for music. She started visiting producer Drizzy's studio, Sound Africa Records, where her interest in the industry truly took shape. Drizzy encouraged her to create a sample, and she chose to cover Rema's "Juice Wa Mango," followed by a cover of a Justin Bieber song. Impressed by her talent, Drizzy wrote her first original song, titled "Otabula," which marked her debut single.

In 2020, Omega256 moved to Kampala and began recording songs at various studios. Her career took a significant turn when she was contacted via Instagram by her current manager, Nash Weiz, who runs the label Diagram Evolution. Together, they embarked on new projects, beginning with the release of "Deep in Love," followed by "Ndeera."

Today, Omega256 continues to rise in Uganda’s music scene, with her talent and persistence proving her as a force to be reckoned with in the industry.

Today, Tuesday, October 8, he was remanded again and is set to remain in custody until October 23. Nasser is accused of working with Promise Gatete to transport a 16-year-old girl from Tagore Apartments at Acacia Mall, holding her captive in the Kito-Kira division for three days. When it was announced that he was being hunted, he initially fled to the Democratic Republic of Congo before relocating to Nairobi, Kenya.

Over the years, the socialite, whose real name is Nasser Nduhukire and who hails from the Sheema district in western Uganda, has made headlines for both good and bad reasons.

Nasser, who once attempted to pursue a singing career, previously claimed to own a Rolls Royce worth approximately Shs2 billion, and he reportedly spent around Shs30 million on a night out and Shs200 million on his son’s birthday party. In 2018, he was found hiding in the ceiling of an apartment while evading arrest for defrauding $8 million in a fake gold scam. At the time, he was said to be 32 years old and had acquired the 2017 Limited Edition Rolls Royce, with reports varying on its value between Shs1.7 billion and Shs1.1 billion.

In addition to the Rolls Royce, Nasser owned a fleet of luxury cars, including a Range Rover Vogue, Range Rover Sport, Mercedes ML 4Matic, BMW X6, FJ Cruiser, 4Matic Convertible, and a GLE 63 Coupé, most of which bore personalised number plates reading ‘NASSER’.

He was reportedly the only individual in East Africa to own that specific model of Rolls Royce at the time. According to reports, Nasser resided at Speke Apartments in one of the most luxurious and expensive suites. Prior to that, he was reportedly based in Dubai, where he claimed to run his own company, Shine Properties, which supposedly deals in real estate in Uganda and the United Arab Emirates.

Ever since he emerged on the social scene, Nasser has been one of the most talked-about figures, with much speculation surrounding the source of his wealth, considering his flashy lifestyle. Reports suggest that Nasser accumulated his wealth through a series of street-smart scams, including one in which he allegedly swindled $5 million from a Dubai-based businessman. At the time, he was reportedly dating the late singer AK47’s widow, Nalongo Maggie Kaweesi, and they allegedly collaborated to obtain the money, although Maggie has denied these claims.

Don Nasser is also said to have dated tycoon Mutaasa Kafeero’s daughter, Masitullah Mutaasa, following her breakup with her American partner, Steve Nanney.

Nasser has at times claimed to be a civil engineer by profession, and there is a road in Kira Municipality named after him, known as ‘Nasser Lane’, which leads to his lavish mansion. Nasser also owns Shine Properties. Some reports indicate that he once posed as the son of Hassan Basajjabalaba to defraud the son of the Fairway Hotel owner in 2011, selling him fake gold and earning $3,500 from the deal.

Nasser is also alleged to have dated a Sudanese woman, previously linked to Simon Rusoke (former owner of the now-defunct Koko Bar), to scam her by convincing her and her relatives to invest in his fake gold deals. After securing the money, he reportedly fled to Hong Kong with the assistance of fellow socialite Cheune.

In 2018, while profiling how Nasser accumulated his wealth, New Vision reported that he had been remanded to Kigo Prison for obtaining money by false pretence from Johnny Hill, a 56-year-old American, defrauding him of $700,000 in a gold scam.

In 2022, reports surfaced that Nasser had established a modern tea factory in Kyamuhunga, which is said to have significantly improved the livelihoods of residents.

Don Nasser was arrested on the morning of Saturday, September 21, in Nairobi. On Monday, September 23, Chief Magistrate Ronald Kayiizi remanded him to Luzira Prison on charges of aggravated trafficking of children and defilement of a 16-year-old girl.

First Lady Janet Museveni sparked online discussions after a video of her advising young men to stay away from "sugar mummies" went viral on social media.

The company has labeled the media reports as "malicious, defamatory, propagandist, and misleading."

In a press release, the Group outlined its longstanding partnership with Automobile Group (U) Limited, a company established in December 2019 following a cooperation agreement between Mr. Liu Qingshan, Mr. Yan Sheng, and Mr. Zhang Zhigang. Under the agreement, the trio aimed to carry out automobile assembly in Uganda.

<h3>Below is the press statement in full:</h3>

KAMPALA—Tian Tang Group is a leading industrial hub within the Republic of Uganda. The Group is established under the auspices of the China – Uganda Cooperation. Over time, the group has attracted significant investment in Uganda creating thousands of Jobs and contributing to development.

Our attention has been drawn to malicious, defamatory, propagandist and misleading media reports currently circulating about our relationship with Automobile Group (U) Limited.

Automobile Group (U) Limited was established following the cooperation agreement between Mr Liu Qingshan, Mr Yan Sheng and Zhang Zhigang in December 2019.

In the terms of the agreement, it was agreed as follows:

1.The parties incorporate a company to among others carry out the business of assembly of automobiles.

2.The shareholding for Automobile Group (U) Co. Ltd to be as follows: Liu Quingshan Yan Sheng and Zhang Zhigang

Tian Tang Group authorized the investment and allowed its chairman to invest in the Company.

Consequently, 10 acres of the land in the Sino-Uganda Mbale Industrial Park were allocated to the Company. The Company also received a 640-square-meter exhibition hall, a 2,700-square-meter workshop and an apartment in the Namanve Industrial Park rent-free for three years.

The allegation that our Chairman only contributed land as equity in the joint venture is false and unfounded.

In further terms of the cooperation agreement, all shareholders were prohibited from undertaking business which conflicted with that of the company.

In April 2023, Mr Liu went on and registered another company Watu Auto Works (U) Ltd engaging in the same business with Automobile Group (U) Co. Ltd. In October 2023, Mr Liu still without the consent from fellow shareholders, registered another competing company NEC-WATU AUTOMOBILE (U) Ltd, with 80 percent shares and NEC with 20 percent shares.

The above companies started using our premises availed (per the cooperation agreement) for their operations to the exclusion of the rest of the partners. Mr. Liu deliberately excluded all partners from participating in the business and refused to render any accountability for the investment.

This conduct clearly violated the agreement between the partners and occasioned considerable loss.

The result coupled with Senegal's win over DR Congo meant that the latter goes through as group winners while Ivory Coast beats Uganda via the head to head criteria after both finishing with four points.

"I'm very disappointed because by the fact that after 2014, this was our best chance to progress," A crestfallen Micho said after bowing out.

"On both occasions, we finished with four points but unfortunately they are not enough progress."

Despite losing, the team showed some improvements in attack as compared to the first two games managing 14 shots, six on target but struggled to string passes with only 289 completed compared to 376 for the Ivorians but only 66 percent of those were accurate.&nbsp;

Micho, who has received criticism of his style of play, took note.

His decision to use Travis Mutyaba sparingly was castigated further as the young star showed glimpses of his capabilities when he came on in the second half but was denied by the crossbar.

"We had the best preparations and I give FUFA credit for that. We had the best game from an attacking point of view but unfortunately, our best wasn't good enough.&nbsp;The result doesn't reflect what we deserved [at the end of the tournament] but I give credit to the players. Football is about what you get and not what you deserved," Micho added.

The team will return as plans to tackle Tanzania in a double-header of match day three and four of the 2023 AFCON qualifiers get underway.

In recent past, Africans living in China have been evicted from their homes by landlords and turned away from hotels and malls, despite many having no recent travel history or known contact with Covid-19 patients.

Some Africans in China are being subjected to mandatory Covid-19 testing plus being quarantined at their homes for 14 days’ despite having no symptoms of the novel Coronavirus.

The mistreatment of black people in China is what prompted Netizens to team up and condemn the xenophobia behavior under the tag #Blackhina.
