When Otile Brown and Vera Sidika broke up, Miss Sidika took to social media and humiliated her ex by claiming that he has a small manhood.

The diss was in response to allegations that Otile Brown’s sex game made her sing after their bitter fall out.

In her messages, Ms Sidika stated that she wanted to clarify allegations that Otile’s sex game drove her crazy to a point she had to compose a breakup song.

On 8th August 2019, Little Simba Dylan Naseeb turned two. To celebrate his birthday, his parents Diamond and Hamisa threw him a beautiful Lion King themed birthday.

Unlike with Zari, Diamond and Hamisa have had a good co-parenting relationship despite their very rocky start and public squabbles in the past.

During a press conference, Diamond praised his Tanzanian baby mama for how she has handled herself in their relationship as co-parents.

“I always make sure that I provide for my children to the best of my ability. That is why you don’t hear of any issues I have with my Tanzanian baby mama Hamisa Mobetto. Though we have had issues in the past, Hamisa is very understanding. I always make sure I send whatever is needed at the end of every month. She decided that’s since we are co-parents we will bring up this child together in harmony. But I think Zari has made it difficult because she doesn’t understand why we can’t all be together,” Diamond said during a press conference.

Hamisa Mobetto has opened up on her life’s challenges and she has chosen to maintain a positive note even after her name was tarnished by Diamond Platnumz’s family.

In the same conference, Diamond responded to questions on why he unfollowed his kids (Tiffah and Nillan) but not Hamisa’s Dylan. The Inama singer revealed that Zari blocked him from following his kids and once you are blocked it appears like you have unfollowed them to outsiders. He added that his Baby Mama has been using their kids against him, but believes she will soon change.

“Unajua kule Mama yao kaniblock , sasa uniangalia kwa mtandanao utaona kuwa siwafollow. Lakini I follow my kids. You know when you separate as partners but you have kids together, the person living with them might use them against you. But ni hasira tu najua after sometime zitaisha na mambo yatakuwa sawa. I have followed my kids but their mother blocked me, but I know zile hasira zitaisha tu na mambo yatakaa sawaa. Licha ya hayo nahakikisha kuwa wanapata mahitaji yote yanayohitajika” said Diamond.

For her big day, her mum sent out this message “Oh darling look at you, I mean look how you turning out. Happy birthday, Heiress @princess_tiffah.”

Diamond shared an adorable photo of Tiffah on his Instagram stories and captioned it, “Daddy loves you.”

Grandma Dangote was also not left behind and wrote a sweet message that read “Happy birthday mtoto Tiffah, Roho yangu mimi kipenzi cha mama Dangote. Your grandma wishes you a long life full of blessings. I love you.”

Since Tiffah likes a bit of pampering, her mother invited Tiffah’s friends and they had a spa party at their house courtesy of Pink Pamper Spa.

6 years ago, Anne Kansiime married a tall, chocolate man in a beautiful traditional wedding.

A wedding that was the talk of the town due to how beautiful it was but as it turns out, there was more than meets the eye when it came to their traditional ceremony. This is because Kansiime also paid for her dowry as she revealed during an episode of their ‘Ann and Nana’ talk show.

Miss Kansiime disclosed that love made her pay her bride price.

“You know when you love someone, all you want to do is make them able to pay for you, able to afford you as far as dowry is concerned,”she confessed.

After paying part of her bride price, Anne realized that that wasn’t the way things should go. A man should take up his role and pay your bride price even if he has little.

“I accused someone of marrying me long enough for the whole world to believe it and him to believe it and I also believed it. Later was when I realized that when you are married, it is when a man wakes up on his two feet, pays your bride price marries you then takes you to church and then marries you; none of that had happened. I do not want to go into the details. I was married but you know how you end up paying some of it for yourself. It is sad, do not look at me like that, I am now an empowered woman,” she said.

“I am saying this for anyone at home who is in a situation that they cannot leave because of what people will think, or if you are nearly getting married but you are tempted to contribute to that dowry. You will feel the way I am feeling,” she added.

Breakup with Gerald Ojok

Gerald Ojok and Kansiime broke up in 2017, 4 years after their beautiful wedding. Kansiime delivered the sad news during a Q &amp; A session with her fans.

“OJ and I are not together anymore. Reasons why are we are not for anyone else to know but the two of us, ” she wrote.

And when a fan questioned her split and called it a bad decision Anne replied with “How sure are you there was God in the union in the first place my ninja!? Let’s all respectful stay in our lane my brother.”

A few months ago, businesswoman Zari Hassan hinted that she will get more kids with her new man KingBae once they settled down.

Zari revealed that she is yet to close the kids chapter in her life considering her new man only has one child and it will not be bad if they got twins together.

I am so old fashioned and traditional I want 10 babies so my kids can have a huge family get together and a cook out. Okay maybe 10 is too much. No its not. Maybe. 10 Inshallah. It’s a blessing. Miss Fena Gitu recently celebrated a decade in the music game, a decade that has seen her grow her fan base, her brand and even her rate card.

In 2009, Miss Gitu earned a mere Sh5,000 for a paying gig and now she takes home about Sh500, 000 which is around the amount required to produce a video.

Speaking on how artistes are paid in Kenya, Fena told K24 that, “It depends on the artiste. As an upcoming artiste you can’t expect to be paid 100Gs per show. I was paid Sh 5,000 after my first paying gig. It took a while (to earn a lot from music).”﻿

On her rate card, Miss Gitu said, “I try and quote about as much as it would cost me to shoot a video. About half a mike (half a million) depending, but it doesn’t happen every time.”

Her rate card demonstrates how far she has come as an artiste as just two years ago she slept on her best friend’s floor.

“There was a time I couldn’t breath and now I am coming up for air, levitating. I have gone through ups and downs. 2017 and 2016 were probably my worst years. I was flat broke, living on my best friend’s floor and just trying to make ends meet. Ni venye tu you don’t go announcing (your problems). I took that time to strategize and focus on me and just grow,” she explained on Up Close with Betty.

Fena is not the only big earner in the entertainment industry.

In 2017, one of Kenya’s most popular directors J Blessing revealed that he will not get out of bed for less than 200,000 Kenya Shillings.

“At the moment I cannot take home less than Sh200, 000 for doing a video. We have gone to school and studied too. I know most Kenyan directors went for their studies in South Africa, I went to the States. We are up to the task. We are mentoring people and we will extend this to the next generation,” he told The Nation newspaper.

Another big earner is Mc Jessy who revealed that he cannot go home with less than Sh200, 000 for a gig.

Comedy seems to be a lucrative business as MCA Tricky recently disclosed that he is making a killing in comedy and earns a 6 figure stipend for every performance. “Comedy pays well and my brand demands a six-figure performance fee,” he told Pulse Magazine.

Last week, Michael was forced to fend off deportation claims.

About a month after getting signed to the Just in Love record label, singer Jovial exited the stable over a misunderstanding between her and the owner Otile Brown.

Confirming the exit, her manager told pulselive.co.ke that: “It’s true she is not working with Just in Love Music, there was a misunderstanding that caused her exit. Currently, she is under new management and next week she will be dropping a new project. We are branding her to be the next big thing. She has a number of projects on her name that will be dropping soon.”

In an interview with Milele FM, Jovial disclosed that Otile Brown had terminated their contract under unclear circumstances.

She also addressed claims that Otile Brown’s girlfriend Nabbi had forced her out of the label.

“I’ve always been in good terms with her (Nabbi). Alafu mimi ni mtu wa kuongea, I’m a very social and very jovial and since day one during the shoot of ‘Amor’ we talked like old friends. I’m a very easy person. I want people to understand that I was signed because of work, si mambo ya mapenzi, kulikuwa na speculations mob ati sijui tunadate no! I don’t like mixing business and pleasure because what got me the contract ni kazi. People have opinions and we cannot stop them but sisi ndio tunajua ukweli,” she said during the interview.

To cement their new liaison, Otile brown gifted Jovial with a brand new Mazda Demio to ease the stress of her commute.

In a video and pictures shared online by Otile, the singer revealed that he had blessed her with the small car to help her with movement around the city.

He also clarified that Jovial is a Kenyan and was born and raised in the coastal city of Mombasa.

In response to Mwakideu’s comment, Jalang’o said that a Governor of Mombasa cannot wear like Ojamong from Busia County or Lonyangapuo from West Pokot. This is because Mombasa is the ‘raha’ capital of Kenya and the county is also hot and humid so some outfits are impractical.

Reacting to Jalang’o’s comment, Mwakideu argued that Governor Joho can wear linen pants since they are light.

“Lazima ujistiri, vaa linen hutaskia joto…avae shorti ya kufika magotini vizuri, asivae shorti ya kumshika sana,” Mwakideu argued.

Bobi Wine has been thrown into mourning following the death of Ziggy Wine a blogger and an upcoming musician signed to his Firebase Crew.

The news was broken by James Mubiru a close associate of the artiste who is officially known as Michael Alinda.

“It is hard to believe that my brother, my friend and fellow comrade in the struggle has gone to meet with the Lord. We have tried all we can in our capacity to see Ziggy makes it but, unfortunately, in vain,” said Mubiru.

Kyadondo East MP Bobi Wine also informed his followers of the sad state of affairs with a tweet that read, “Our friend Ziggy Wine could not make it. He passed on last night- succumbing to injuries sustained after a horrendous encounter with kidnap &amp; torture. Very painful! He joins other countless Ugandans. As we mourn him, we resolve to work even harder to end this. Rest well brother.”

Ziggy was reportedly kidnapped on his way to Kamwokya studio in Kampala on July 21 2019. He was later found unconscious at the gate of Mulago National Referral Hospital with an eye missing and two fingers chopped off. His body also bore burns indicating that he had been tortured.

“My friend, fellow artiste &amp; #PeoplePower comrade Ziggy Wine was kidnapped only to be found three days back tortured beyond recognition, left eye plucked out, two fingers cut off, belongings taken &amp; left for dead. Pray for him, even as we struggle to end this state of affairs,” Bobi had earlier tweeted announcing what had befallen his friend.

Things are said to have gotten worse from there as he didn't receive the proper medical care and was just put on antibiotics at the Mulago casualty unit.

“He looked to be in a lot of pain. Sometimes he would get off the bed and walk to the toilet. At one time we had to tie him to the bed to restrain his movements,” a source told the Daily Monitor.

Following his death, detectives attached to the Criminal Investigations Directorate (CID) are looking for the criminals that kidnapped and tortured the young man.

“We’ve opened a death inquiry file to investigate the circumstances surrounding the death of Michael Alinda. Our regional team in Kawempe police station have taken up that task. They are going to work very closely with our homicide department at the CID headquarters. If the post-partum results reveal that Michael died from unnatural cause then we have to investigate and ensure that justice is served to the family of the victim,” Police Spokesperson, Fred Enanga told journalists.

The ‘Baby Love’ singer recently launched a shoe business named ‘Just in Love Shoe Collection’ in Fontanella Mombasa.

Just in Love Music launched with the unveiling of an artiste named Jovial and they released the first song called ‘Zichune’ that did well across the music charts.

However, things were not as jovial when the fast-rising singer parted ways with Otile Brown days after being gifted with a brand new car.

According to her manager David Guoro who spoke to Pulselive.co.ke, Jovial exited Just in Love Music following a misunderstanding between her and the label.

“It’s true she is not working with Just In Love Music, there was a misunderstanding that caused her exit. Currently, she is under new management and next week she will be dropping a new project. We are branding her to be the next big thing. She has a number of projects on her name that will be dropping soon,” said Jovial’s Manager.

Larry Madowo recently left the BBC to study at the prestigious Columbia University in New York on a journalism fellowship.
