Cond Nast vice president Matt Duckor has left the company, according to an email from Cond Nast Entertainment president Oren Katzeff obtained by Business Insider.
In a Business Insider investigation published on Tuesday , current and former staffers said that Duckor failed to include non-white talent in Bon Apptit's video content.
Bon Apptit's leadership team has been under fire since this weekend, after a photo of former editor-in-chief Adam Rapoport dressed in stereotypical Puerto Rican garb resurfaced.
Duckor, who is a vice president at Cond Nast, heads video for Bon Apptit, along with Cond Nast brands Architectural Digest and Vogue. Video has become a cash cow for the struggling media company in recent years.
A request for comment sent to Cond Nast and Duckor wasn't immediately returned.

Hi Team,
First, I want to thank you for your honesty and candor over these last many days. It takes courage and conviction to bring forward the issues you've experienced and the ideas on our needed changes at CNE. I know you wouldn't be speaking up if you weren't passionate about the work we do together. We've already started the process of reviewing our practices and over the next week we'll be bringing forward a plan of action centered on diversity and inclusion. We'll be working with you in the key areas we need to improve - our talent selection and hiring (both in front of and behind the camera), our programming strategy, pilot development, our compensation practices, and more.
As we move forward together, I wanted you to hear from me directly that Matt Duckor will be leaving the company, effective immediately. An interim head of programming will be announced as soon as possible.
Tomorrow, Roger and Stan Duncan, our Chief People Officer, have asked to have an open forum with you to listen and help address the concrete ways we can improve. You will be receiving an invitation on your calendars shortly.
We'll have a follow up team discussion on Friday to talk about our action plan together and collectively determine how best to move forward. It will be a collaborative process and this is just the beginning. I am committed to not just talking about change but taking all the necessary steps to make it happen. I'm confident we will hold each other accountable and move forward together with purpose.
Thank you for continued dedication to build lasting, necessary change in the ways we work and show up for each other.
Thank you,
Oren
