In his latest show of disdain for the Ghetto President, Skin said he did not need his sympathies or a second chance from his fans and political supporters.
“I do not need Bobi Wine’s second chance because I have never been in the NUP,” said the Fangone Forest boss while addressing the press this week.
“I am doing fine…I am soon going to retire voluntarily from music, so why do I need a chance? Is he going to give me that chance for the next month?”
Skin said if Bobi Wine wants to extend an olive branch to struggling artists, he should seek out people like Ronald Mayinja.
“The person who needs him most I think is Ronald Mayinja or the likes of Big Eye,” he said.
“These should be the ones he should be helping because I think they need it more; not me.”
Skin was responding to comments made earlier by Bobi Wine which he called on his fans to overlook Skin’s mistakes and give him a second chance.
Bobi Wine said of Skin in an interview some time back, “I think he is a talented guy; give him a chance because I think he deserves it. We all grow up, some of us were even worse off than him but the world gave us another chance.”
Bobi Wine also advised Skin to copy only the good things from him and learn from his mistakes.
Meanwhile, Skin threatened to form his own political party after he has retired from music at the end of this year.
“I will still be around pushing people’s buttons… I was actually planning to turn Fangone into a political party. We shall call it Fangone Unity Platform,” he said
On whether he really means to give up entirely on music, he said, he might continue to release some music but will stop appearing at music shows.
