The talented Swangz Avenue artist first confirmed her relationship last week, revealing that her boyfriend is based in the US.

She once again opened up about the lucky man but stopped short of revealing his identity.

In a televised interview on Thursday, Azawi described her lover as “tall and dark-skinned.”

Oh, and he’s also a Muslim.

She also revealed that the two had known each other for a long time when he was still in Uganda.

It was only after he left the country, she says, that he started shooting his shots.

We met here; we were very good friends and we talked a lot, but when he got to the other side that was when he managed to get the courage to tell me and I told him I was ready because I did not want to make it hard for him,” she said.

On the Kiki Kitya show with Diana Nabatanzi, Azawi described self as a “lovey-dovey, soft, and vulnerable lover.

Yes, I do give off the bad girl vibe but when it comes to love, I am very soft,” she said.

When I love, I truly love and that is why love scares me sometimes,” she said.

As a devout Catholic, the songstress worries about how she’ll co-exist with her Muslim man because she’s “not sure” about having to convert to Islam.

Azawi, like any of us, has had her fair share of love troubles and heartbreaks, right from when she was a budding musician.

She once narrated how a married man she was madly in love with nearly sank her mom’s food business as she secretly served him lunch on credit.
