The Gagamel Entertainment boss imported and had the SUV delivered to him late last week according to reports.
This was revealed by entertainment journalist Jenkins Mukasa, who claims to have confirmed with Bebe Cool himself.
Mukasa said on his YouTube show, “The Weekly Drone” that Bebe Cool’s Armored vehicle, a Toyota VX, arrived last week on Friday, September 1, and that he unveiled it to his friends in Bukoto.
Among those who were there, Jenkins said, was singer Jose Chameleone.
“Chameleone was with Bebe Cool when he was launching his armored vehicle. It arrived on Friday and he unveiled it at Oryx (fuel station) in Bukoto,” he said.
“So now we have two artists in Uganda with armored vehicles, that is Bobi Wine and Bebe Cool.”
Mukasa also said he talked to Bebe Cool about the new ride and that he bragged about it.
“He told me that even if you hit it with a bomb, it will just stare at you.”
While celebrating his birthday last week, Bebe Cool slammed his arch nemesis Bobi Wine for being ungrateful to the NRM Government under which he has thrived to the point of buying an armored vehicle.
“Today, he drives a bulletproof car licensed by the government. How did he get that license?” Bebe Cool charged.
Bobi Wine acquired his armored Land Cruiser in early 2021. The vehicle was purchased mainly through supporters' donations.
URA initially impounded the vehicle for alleged under declaration, but eventually released it following a presidential directive.
