The 22-year-old, known professionally as Baby Gloria, has not yet gotten onto the dating scene, according to her mother.
Nabibuuka says this is in part because the former child singer has so much on her plate; from her university education to the big and demanding corporate endorsements.
“Right now, that stuff to do with men is not what is on her mind,” Nakibuuka revealed on Monday.
“Currently, she is at the university in her final year, and as you know, she is a big corporate brand ambassador; so there is all on her mind at the moment.”
Nakibuuka revealed further that she as a mother is concerned about when her child will start dating.
“I am praying for her that when the time comes, God will bring the right man so that she does not land in the hands of a crook. I pray for her every day that her man will be from God," she said.
Last year, Baby Gloria said she was not dating anyone because she was too busy to afford herself such freedoms.
“I believe that you shouldn’t have sex before marriage,” she said.
“For me, I feel busy. I am not yet free for a relationship."
Meanwhile, Nakibuuka announced yesterday, her upcoming concert along with other old-time gospel artists including Betty Namaganda, and Betty Muwanguzi.
The Gospel Legends Concert is slated for December 2 at the Imperial Royale Hotel in Kampala.
