Cool called out the NUP President for “using ordinary people’s real pain and suffering” to fight wars with the government, which he has been working with and continues to.
“Bobi Wine was working with this Government before I did,” said the Kasepikyi singer in a press address this week.
“Gen Salim Saleh is his buddy number one, (Gen. Kale) Kayihura is second, Gen Muhoozi is number three…”
The Gagamel Entertainment boss invited Bobi Wine’s fans to question how and why he’s done so well financially in the government he claims has impoverished Ugandans.
“Today, he drives a bulletproof car licensed by the government. How did he get that license?
“Bobi Wine has insulted everybody for being treacherous, but I have never heard him reject the Shs 3billion that his opposition party takes from the government annually
“And all the time he spent in parliament, he never rejected his government salary as dirty money.”
Without naming names, Bebe Cool also claimed that there are many other people like the Government who loudly criticize the ruling Government during the day, but hold secret meetings with top government officials at night.
“People are insulting Museveni every day, but I tell you, we are with those people at night, I won't mention them now. But the time will come and the light will shine.
“People will hate you once they realize what you really are… playing with their pain. People want services but you take them to the frontline to get them to fight the government that would have helped them.”
Bebe Cool was giving his opinions on Bobi Wine’s opposition to the ideas being floated within the Uganda National Musicians Federation.
