The song which came out last year emphasizes gender roles and the cardinal importance of heterosexual relations in life.
Bobi Wine described man and woman in the song as the primary source of life.
“Every man needs a woman and woman needs a man.; that was the plan in the Eden Garden,” goes part of the song lyrics.
The new video which had over 30k views on YouTube by Tuesday, opens with a 20-second sample of Bobi Wine’s “Adam ne Kaawa” from 2007 which also emphasizes the complementary relations between men and women.
The timing of the “Man & Woman” video release is curious as it comes at a time when Bobi is contending with the wild accusations that he has turned his political party the National Unity Platform into a front for promoting the LGBTQ agenda in the country.
Bobi Wine has been accused by some party members led by Abed Bwanika, the Kimanya-Kabonera MP of taking funds and moral support from global LGBTQ activities and organizations.
Bwanika claimed on Easter Sunday while appearing on Dream TV, that he had evidence of gay sex abuse taking place at the NUP head offices in Kavule and that would soon release it to the public.
Similar allegations were made by former party Vice President and Nyendo-Mukungwe MP, Mathias Mpuuga who claims being persecuted and hounded out of the party because of the work he did in mobilizing NUP MPs to support the passing of the Anti-Homosexuality Law last year.
