He flew into Kampala to shoot a video of his song titled Wapae and parts of it feature Hypers Kids Africa, a dance group based along Salama Road in Munyonyo, Kampala.
American rapper 6ix9ine was in Uganda on Wednesday, April 12.

6ix9ine, born Daniel Hernandez, is seen in a TikTok video thanking a lady for hosting him. Moses Butindo, who founded the dancing outfit in 2014, said that lady in the video is his wife.
"So, you know, I'm here with the queen, the queen herself, she allowed us to come into her home," 6ix9ine says in the video.
"I thank you so much for allowing us to come in here and shoot the video of Wapae herself. Thank you so much."
Meanwhile, 6ix9ine released the video of the song on Sunday and it already has 4.1 million views. The kids were given a significant appearance in the video. He features Angel Dior, Lenier and Bulin 47 in the song which is in Spanish.
When you check the Instagram page of Hypers Kids Africa, in most of the videos they are dancing to songs by South American musicians which could be why the 26-year-old American rapper found them a fit for the video. Butindo, a former football player, who retired from the sport after breaking his leg, said their content is popular in Brazil.
He told this reporter over the phone on Monday morning that they are currently hosting a big Brazilian artiste with whom they are working on a big project.
Hypers Kids Africa Nicki Minaj
Moses Butindo said 6ix9ine connected them to the American rapper Nicki Minaj, who also hails from Trinidad, a county in South America. Butindo said they spoke to her over the phone when the rapper was still in Kampala.
"6ix9ine connected us to Niki Minaj," he said. "We discussed a lot with her.”
Butindo said Hypers Kids Africa has 42 kids living together in the same house and they are mostly involved in dancing, football and acrobatics.
He also noted that they’ve worked with other a number of other celebrities, including Chris Brown, Neymar, Ronaldinho Gaucho and Léo Santana among others.
