Abitex names worst enemies; set to announce next move after impeachment

Events promoter Abitex has listed five people he says he will “never again sit on the same table with,” for as long as he lives.

All five are involved in the event promotion business as himself.

In a TikTok live stream over the weekend, Abitex, real names Abby Musinguzi, named the five enemies as Balaam Barugahare of Balaam Marketing and Promotions Agency; Hajj Musa Kavuma of KT Events, Emma Serugo of Emma Promotions, Juma Balunywa of Balunywa Events, and Moses Lubulwa of Luba events.

With God still keeping me here and for as long as I am still in the events promotion; I will never sit with them or get involved in anything that brings us together, because they are not straightforward people… some of them are real evil,” Abitex said.

“I will give my reasons later, but for now I will never relate with these people again. Even if there is a lot of money, if any one of them is involved, I will just pass.”

All the five are members of the Uganda Music Promoters Federation (UMPF) where Abitex was impeached as interim President late last month.

During the stream, Abitex accused the association members of being supporters of the ruling NRM Government; and purging him because of his purported ties with the Opposition.

All my three Vice Presidents were NRM; even our treasurer Kavuma is NRM,” he said “We know that there are sinister motives behind this federation and yet our goal was to fix our business, and not get involved in politics.”

Meanwhile, following his ouster, Abitex announced that this week he will be revealing his next course of action.

Soon we are going to announce a new executive; everything will be announced in this coming week.”

On Saturday, July 14, another promoter Andrew Mukasa Alphonse, better known as Andrew Bajjo resigned from the federation where he was heading research and development.

Bajjo has since encouraged Abitex to create his own federation “that is supported by the people.”
