Alien Skin changes tone on Bobi Wine, says Nkwacho fest is going to Busalaba

Skin blamed the entire fiasco pitting him against Bobi, on the Ghetto President’s internet foot soldiers.

These keyboard warriors, Skin said, are the ones fueling the bad blood between him and Bobi, yet the NUP Principal himself has not said a word.

“I don't want people to come out attacking me on behalf of another person. Are you his spokesperson? I want if anyone wants to attack me ,to come as themselves, not in the name of another person,” he said.

“I am not afraid of getting into any war but what I don't want is for people to bring in others who are not part of it.

Skin had earlier been suspected and accused by NUP supporters of switching to the ruling NRM side, in the wake of the cancellation of his Kwancho festival which was supposed to be organized by Abitex.

The Fangone Forest boss reacted angrily to the accusations, saying he has never been in an agreement with any political movement.

"Did I tell anyone that I came from Firebase [Bobi Wine's record label]?… I just love Bobi Wine as an individual... but there are these dogs around him. I'm also on top. And I've achieved everything I've through my own sweat," he said in a live TikTok session.

But in another live stream last night, (Wednesday, August 9) Skin clarified that those who think he is fighting the NUP and Bobi Wine are mistaken because he himself is making a contribution to the “struggle” in his own way.”

“We might have our own different aspirations, but I can also contribute to their aspirations,” he said.

To show that there is nothing personal between him and Bobi Wine, Skin revealed that he will be holding his Nkwacho Festival at the former’s beach in Busabala.

“The one thing that we want most is money, and therefore the Nkwacho Festival is going to Busabala,” he said

“We have taken the festival away from them because they are thieves...now we are taking it to Busabala.”

The festival was supposed to be held on August 27 at Forest Park in Buloba.

Last Friday, Skin postponed the show, and announced later that he was planning to hold it at Lubiri in Mengo.
