"Thank you for trusting me to bring the news that defined who we are... Tonight marks my last bulletin," he posted
"It’s been an honour and privilege to serve you all," he said in his heartfelt message.
Kyamagero has been a key figure at NTV since joining in 2018, where he brought a unique style and professionalism to his role as an English news anchor.
He became a regular on the morning show and delivered the daily 9pm news.
His journey at the station marked a significant part of his illustrious career, which spans over a decade in various media houses including Galaxy FM and Radio.
Charity
While his next career move remains unannounced, Kyamagero has long been involved in charitable work.
He has worked with organisations like the Keddi Foundation to support vulnerable communities in Uganda.
Additionally, he founded the Omuntu Wawansi Initiative in 2018, which promotes the involvement of men and boys in improving health, socio-economic, and gender-related outcomes across Uganda.
Through this initiative, Kyamagero advocates for gender-transformative approaches that encourage men to play active roles in fostering positive change in their homes and communities.
