The most amusing bit was when the former Honorary Consul of Pakistan in Uganda said that part of her hard work includes battling legal cases with their business nemeses.
Angella Franklin Keihongani Katatumba has said she has been able to acquire her new ride, a Toyota Land Cruiser V8, because of hard work.

"I work, I'm a hustler... court cases, business deals, meetings," she said during an interview with Spark TV.
She added when asked if court cases are also work: "Yes.. it's work. You have to look for money to pay lawyers. And our lawyers are very expensive. It's very hard work."
When the interviewer insisted on what the 33-year-old former diplomat does, she said: "Court cases... How many times do you want me to tell you?... just running my father's businesses, the island [Katatumba Resort Island, Sese in Lake Victoria], Hotel Diplomate [in Muyenga], the other properties, we are building, we are investing."
Katatumba went on: "Like now in the village, my mom is finishing up one of our mansions, so it's a lot of work. When your parents give you things, you have to maintain them and make them better. The hotel has to be better. the island has to be better."
[The Katatumba family has been involved in a protracted legal battle with some businessmen around town, the most notable being that with Mukesh Shukla, the managing director of Shumuk Group of Companies, with whom they are fighting over property sale fraud.]
The ride
Katatumba says her Toyota Land Cruiser V8 is a 2022 model and she bought it herself.
"It's not a man that bought it for me. It's my hustle. I bought my car," she said, adding when asked about the price:
"Do we talk about prices? but I can give a clue... 2022 baby... haha... so, go and Google. [According to Carsguide.com, the ride ranges from $80,873 (about Shs310 million to $137,981 (about Shs530m). That's before taxes.] As for prices, we don't talk about prices... hihi... I'm not going to advertise it to the world."
The business lady reiterated her call to women to refuse being subjected to housework.
"I'm telling you I'm hustlin, I'm working hard," she said.
"I'm always telling girls to leave the kitchen… you think I'm joking... hehe... hehe,” she said, adding when asked if a housewife can’t afford such a car: “it'll be hard. They need to come and we hustle together."
Away from business, Katatumba earns a living through music and she has over the years released well received music and earned collaborations with top musicians like Bebe Cool and Radio and Weasel.
