This forced her to drop out of school. Namubiru is now a mother of a girl named Luna.
The father of her daughter is white. Parents being from different races influenced the baby's skin tone.
Speaking to media personality Ruth Kalibbala, Angella Summer Namubiru disclosed that there were times when people thought she was babysitting for someone.
She said when she became pregnant, her relationship with the baby daddy soured for a while but welcoming their daughter eventually brought them closer again.
She didn't reveal if they were still romantically involved.
Namubiru, who is one of the most followed Ugandans on TikTok, said becoming a mother has taught her a lot about responsibility and living a life of focus.
Before becoming a celebrated internet personality, Angella Summer Namubiru was a dancer and singer.
She did that under City Rock Entertainment, which she joined when she was 16. This was 2014.
One holiday while in high school, she travelled to Jinja to participate in a promo campaign.
Luckily for her, the manager of City Rock Entertainment saw her dancing to their music and asked if she'd love to join them. She accepted.
They travelled with her from Jinja to Kampala and the rest was history.
While at City Rock, she picked an interest in social media and her boss entrusted her with running the company's socials.
She left the singing group during lockdown after realising "one can live without a job."
She also noticed she was no longer contributing much to the company and vice versa.
Angella Summer Namubiru believes one of the reasons she's been able to grow her TikTok account to over 6 million followers is because she's focused on her niche only -- presenting the village girl lifestyle.
She said she's also found it easier to do such content because it requires less investment.
Namubiru is an actor, model and founder of Blacare, a non-profit located in Entebbe.
She said she plans to resume singing at some point and that having another kid will depend on her finances. She hails from Masaka.
