Kampala Metropolitan Police Spokesperson Patrick Onyango on Wednesday revealed how Alien Skin was arrested.
On Tuesday Skin was filmed engaged in a scuffle with Pallaso. They were at a studio in Makindye, Kampala, according to the police spokesman.
Patrick Onyango said eyewitnesses told police that the duo had misunderstandings but the law enforcement agency is yet to get detailed information.
By the time police arrived, Alien Skin and Pallaso had stopped fighting.
That none of the two reported the incident to the police.
Onyango said police hasn't filed any against the duo.
After the altercation with Pallaso, Alien Skin and members of his camp were involved in another fight. Patrick Onyango didn't disclose the location of the fight but he said they got a tipoff from witnesses and cops were dispatched to arrest the singer.
He said Skin was arrested in a professional manner since they tried to show courtesy because of his status as a celebrity.
Cops didn't throw under the bed where they sit on the pickup truck.
He shared with them a seat at their invite so they could go to the police station
"But it seems he was like, 'why are you treating me with respect? I don't deserve it,'" said Onyango.
Alien Skin was filmed jumping off the truck.
Onyango said they didn't chase after him because assault is not a "big case."
He said if he had committed murder or aggravated robbery it would be a different story.
He said chasing after him might have exposed him to danger, say a boda boda accident or any other harm, yet the case didn't deserve that.
