Diana, who also embraced her nickname Bilungo, reminded NUP supporters to respect her rights though she was a bit covert with her submission.
"I have a lot of shows. Even that is there? I've about eight shows during the Easter holidays... my shows are so many... Everyone is free to do what they want," Diana said when newsmen asked her what she thinks of NUP supporters who are trying to bash her.
"There is nothing wrong with calling me Bilungo. It's my name. Spice is my name, so I embrace it and I love it."
On April 19, Gen Kainerugaba, who heads the MK Movement, will be the chief guest at a thanksgiving concert dubbed‘Rukundo Egumeho in Kabale district to celebrate the reopening of the Uganda-Rwanda border.
It should be recalled that the army chief, who is also the senior presidential advisor on Special Operations, played a pivotal role in the re-opening of the border through a series of meetings with Rwandan President Paul Kagame.
Kagame was even in Kampala to celebrate Gen. Kainerugaba's 48th birthday in April 2022. The former Land Forces commander has said this year his 49th birthday celebrations will be hosted by Kagame himself.
The movement of trucks and people at the Gatuna/Katuna border resumed for the first time in three years early 2022 following closure prompted by a diplomatic impasse.
Diana is among the many acts that will perform at the thanksgiving ceremony in honour of this crucial diplomatic endeavour.
“On April 19, I will join Gen Muhoozi Kainerugaba for the special border-opening Thanksgiving… and I will perform all your favourite hits,” Diana said in the video promoting the event. It’s important to note that Diana is close to the family of Bobi Wine, the NUP leader.
Other artistes that are slated to perform include Jose Chameleone, Azawi, Winnie Nwagi and Bebe Cool. The event will be held at Kigezi High School Playground.
