According to Bugingo, Makula is always receiving hit pieces forwarded by her friends and he thought taking away her phone would stop her from seeing them.
That every time she receives those malicious videos, she calls him crying, so he needed a solution.
He said he has advised her to toughen up like him since it's kinda normal for a public figure to always be a target of social media attacks in the current world, but it hasn't worked.
“I almost confiscated Susan Makula's phone. And I'm tough. I told her and she cried... I realised social media would turn it into a headline: Bugingo makes Makula cry; sit and listen... people who are idle are always sending her clips of what fools are talking about her... and then she calls to tell me,” said Bugingo in a video seen by this reporter.
"Sometimes she gives me like five titles – pastor, daddy, honey, sweetie,.. and I'm like, my God, who am I of these many titles?... When she uses those many titles, I immediately tell that she's received the clips and she's now annoyed. Stop sending those clips to my wife...

Bugingo said she shouldn't mind the talk because being talked about means she is on top.
