"I repeat, my daughters know where to find me. I have never blocked anyone's phone. They are free to call, to send a message."
Bugingo said his door is open and he is ready to welcome them.
"For the last... seven years we've not chatted. We've not talked to each other. No message, no what. But as for me, the door is open. And I want to release the blessings as a father, the blessings of my father in heaven, the son and the holy spirit, and [my] blessings as their parent," he said.
"I pray that they live a good life. Life that was predestined to Doreen, to Winnie, to Jennifer and to Isaac."
Gift's father, Aloysius Bugingo, was married to Teddy Naluswa until his romance with his current fiancee, Susan Makula, went public in 2019.
While speaking to the media recently, his daughter, Doreen, who was graduating with a Master of Science in Telecommunications Engineering from Makerere University, said she had been communicating with her father through relatives.
"There are people who I respect and he respects, so when I want to check on him, they are there and when he wants to check on me, they are there. So, on my part, we have a way we keep tabs,” she said.
Doreen said the bad blood between them and their father has reduced.
