She promised so much and delivered so little - Cindy reignites beef with Sheebah

Cindy Sanyu said she was underwhelmed by Sheebah Karungi, especially after she had been told before the day of their showdown that the latter was going to splurge.

"I was told so many things, like, oh she's gonna arrive in a chopper, she's gonna have 100 dancers; oh, she's going to do this and do that," said Cindy in a trailer of an upcoming interview with Galaxy TV.

"So, my mind had like huge things... Because I know there's no talent... So I like, likkle gal Dem who has just popped up, you still smell like pampers and susu, you are calling yourself a queen."

This is not the first time Cindy is dissing Sheebah's talent. In 2023 ahead of their musical battle Cindy said she beats Sheebah Karungi in all music metrics.

"She is not better than me at anything,” said Sanyu when she was asked if Karungi has any achievement she beats her at. “We are on a musical battle. If it is still about music, she is not better than me at anything.”

She was also quick to note that she’s only speaking exclusively about their music pedigree. “Unless we decide to talk about other things,” said Cindy, adding: “but that's not the kind of conversation I want to participate in. For me, it's about music.”

The Cindy Vs Sheebah music battle, which was organised by Victoria University, was held on September 15 at Kololo Airstrip in Kampala.

Meanwhile, several online polls in the aftermath of the show also put Cindy ahead including our own which had her at 65%.

Most of the industry's top shots such as Jose Chameleone, Mesach Semakula, and others resisted taking sides, while others such as Kampala Lord Mayor Erias Lukwago and Deputy Speaker of Parliament Thomas Tayebwa declared it a draw.
