The show is being pushed by Fangon Forest under breakout star Alien Skin.
But knowing the struggle it takes to regain lost clout on the music scene, the 'Manzi wa Nani' singer is not sitting back.
On Tuesday, August 1, he took to the crowded downtown Kampala to rally support for his concert.

With a megaphone, and flanked by the showrunners Abitex, Bajjo and some friends, the singer scoured through parts of Owino Market, Container Village, Kafumbe Mukasa and surrounding areas, vending tickets to the show.

Clever J also has other shows lined up in Mukono, Entebbe later this month.
The Logogo concert has already been met with skepticism by some entertainment pundits.

Former NBS and Sanyuka TV presenter Isaac Kawalya Kaiyz predicted two weeks ago that the show would be a downright flop.
“Clever J cannot get 7000 people unless they are entering for free,” Kaiyz told YouTuber Flavia Namulidwa in an interview on June 13.
“The strength and popularity that Alien Skin got came from that Pallaso saga….but he himself cannot push another artiste like Clever J back into the limelight.”
There is ,however, hope that the singer could ride on the massive fanbase of Alien Skin to pull in the numbers.
It all waits to be seen, come Friday.
