“I stayed with Daniella for two years. she would come from campus and sleep at my house... I'm being honest... there are women who are hard,” Chameleone said.
Joseph Mayanja, popularly known as Jose Chameleone, waited for two years before having sex with his wife, Daniella Atim.

"To be realistic, I don't know where the patience came from... Red Banton is my witness... sometimes I would tell him that I have chased her away... she is wasting my time... But then whenever I would meet her again, the heart would draw me back to her... But it paid off, she has given me beautiful children."
The singer says he met Atim at Garden City in Kampala. Chameleone says he had started becoming intentional about places he goes to hang because he was planning to get married.
"I saw Daniella coming out with a friend who came to request a [cigarette] lighter and I asked him about her,” he said.
Chameleone said Don (Atim’s friend) refused to share her number, saying it should be her to give it to him.
But luck was on the ‘Valu Valu’ hitmaker’s side when Don asked for his number. Daniella declined to give Chameleone her number, telling him they would communicate through Don's phone.
One day Don called telling Chameleone that Atim wanted a chat. During the conversation, Daniella said they were going for lunch and the ‘Dorotia’ singer offered to deliver chicken from Nyanama to her hostel in Kikoni, Makerere.

One day the ‘Badilisha’ singer was at Club Silk with his colleague Tony Lubega, alias Red Banton, and Atim came asking for a favour.
She asked him to drop her and her friend at their hostels. He accepted but the unfolding events would make for a thrilling romantic comedy.
"They were four girls and they sat in the car... I told Red Banton to wait for me, so I first drop the girls. I thought I was taking them to the same university... one was going to Kyambogo [University, another Nakawa (MUBS), another Makerere... to know that Daniella was complicated, I dropped her first,” he said.
"She was the first to leave.. But luckily, I had upcoming show in Mbale, Jinja and Kayunga."
The crooner invited her for the shows and she accepted to tag along and he set another trap.
"Every show we would complete, I would tell Omulangira Ndausi to give the collections to Daniella... when she saw the money, she knew I was hard working," he said.
The 43-year-old singer says he dropped Atim at hostel and only took home Shs200,000. She kept the balance for a week until she invited him to pick it, as he wanted to go back home.
When he came to pick the money, the singer offered to buy her a car, but she declined opting for a TV screen. He took her to the LG outlet on Kampala Road.
"But we found they were costly... she told me, I believe you have a small screen at home, let's leave these and you give me one at your house,” he said.
"I had a small Toshiba screen and another big one. I told her to come and choose. When she came to my house at Nyanama, she picked the small one... That's the type of woman I was looking for.”
The couple have been married since 2008 and they have five children together.
