Diamond Platnumz jets in for Kololo mega show, to hit studio with Spice Diana

The Diamond Platnumz Live in Kampala is set for tomorrow, Friday July 14th, at the Kololo Independence grounds.

The ‘Yatapita' singer checked in at Entebbe International Airport in the evening hours and was welcomed by the Comedy Store crew left by Alex Muhangi.

Speaking briefly to waiting pressmen, Platinum said he was happy to be back to his other home Uganda.

“Uganda is my home. My kids are from here, so I am excited to be back here,” he said.

Asked about his itinerary during his stay, the Tanzanian musician and businessman announced that he will be releasing a song with Ugandan superstar Spice Diana.

The two, he said, might also have time to shoot a video.

“I think before I leave we may drop a song with Diana…we have been planning this for a while, we have a couple songs, me and her but they are not out yet,” he said.

“We might shoot a video and maybe we will perform the song as well. You should expect nothing but the best,” he said

The Wasafi Record Label Boss was last in Uganda in 2019, where he delivered an outstanding and energetic performance that left the audience in awe. Prior to that, he had made appearances in Uganda in 2014 and 2017.
