"Love is tough," Nimrod said in a media interview.

"We were planning and promising things to each other. Then Joel came with his money and said whatever Nimrod is promising you I have it here."

That was it, according to D.J. Nimrod, real name Nimrod Nabeeta.

According to Nimrod, for some time he hated Isabirye for the move he made.

One time, Prof. Isabirye, who is a media consultant, was hired to train Galaxy FM staff and Nimrod refused to attend.

"There's when they brought him to Galaxy to train us and I stayed at home because I was still annoyed that he stole my woman... But he spoke good things about me..." Nimrod said, adding that he no longer has issues with him.

"But I no longer have a problem with him."

Natty introduced Isabirye to her parent’s home in March 2017.

Their relationship was marred with turmoil. Joel Isabirye accused Natty K of not letting go of her city-girl life when she got married. When the MV Templar boat accident happened in 2018, she was among the survivors. Isabirye said she hadn't told him she was going on the cruise. 228 people died that day.

According to Isabirye, she would lock the bedroom and beat him. She accused him of being terrible in bed.

They eventually separated in 2019. According to Nimrod, she got married again.
