"That one pains me," he said, while appearing on Vybe Life UG, discussing the state of the music industry with Batt Badru, who had mentioned her latest song titled "Mpa Nkuwe," produced by Brian Beats, with a video directed by Director Pest.
Eddy Sendi believes Irene Ntale's biggest career mistake was leaving Swangz Avenue.
"I'm going to look out for it (her new song). I like her... She is very talented. But she made one of her biggest career mistakes... Her biggest career mistake was leaving Swangz Avenue," he continued.
"But I hope she learnt something from it. And maybe even others will learn from it."
Sendi noted that Aziz Azion and Irene Ntale pain him a lot because they are super talented but have limited themselves.
He said they are frustrating their careers.
In her latest interview, Irene Ntale expressed no regrets about leaving Swangz Avenue, highlighting that she has accomplished more independently than she did while under a record label.
She said that she now works at a pace she enjoys.
While some believe her brand is less visible now compared to her time with the record label, the songstress explained that this does not necessarily mean she was more successful back then.
"Nothing frustrates you like your music being everywhere yet you have no money in your pocket... People think you are successful, but it's just the music that's everywhere," she said.
She noted that she now sees the money she earns, which was not the case before.
Ntale, who joined Swangz Avenue in 2013 and left in 2017, stated she was prepared to leave.
Eddie Sendi advised Aziz Azion to form a band that focuses on live music and told B2C to look up to Sauti Sol and start doing lots of practice. He also encouraged young talent to try as much as they can to learn an instrument and invest more of their money in bettering their talents rather than showbiz.
