"I don't have a problem. I'm a very easy guy... I don't abuse, I have never beaten her... For all the time we were together, she can testify that we never had [a major misunderstanding]... So, if she remembers [how good we were together], she has no reason to have ill feelings. I have no problem," Kenzo said while speaking to Spark TV.
Eddy Kenzo is not surprised that his baby mama Rema Namakula endorsed his festival because despite breaking up he has always been good to her.

The Eddy Kenzo Festival will be held on November 12 at Kololo Airstrip in Kampala.
While attending Winnie Nwagi's concert at Lugogo Cricket Oval on September 9, Namakula who has a daughter with Kenzo was asked to comment on her relationship with the Tweyagale hitmaker and if she'll be attending the festival.
"I respect him so much as a father. On the day of the concert, even if I do not come, I ask [everyone] to attend and support him,” she said.
In an earlier interview when Kenzo was asked if he had invited her, he said: "If she wants... to come, she is invited."
On whether it's true that they are smoothly co-parenting, he responded: "Why do you want me to repeat words [implying Rema's words]? Whatever she said, go with that, simple."
Pressed to respond to people who believe he has issues with the songbird, he said: "Don't make me repeat someone's words, I wasn't there when they were saying them."
Rema Namakula discouraged people from probing too much into relationship issues because people in love are unpredictable.
"You see family issues, you leave them and let loved ones sort each other," she said.
"But marriage issues, my friend, don't involve yourself. I fight my husband today, tomorrow he is my friend and [the person] who has been advising me, we look at you as an enemy trying to sabotage our relationship. That's marriage.”
Kenzo and Namakula dramatically ended their relationship in 2019 when she started dating Dr Hamza Sebunya, who was still a medical student at Makerere University.
He had been with her for about six years and they sired a daughter named Aamal Musuuza.
She will be making 11 soon.
