G-Wagon, trucks, love: Emmanuel Lwasa reveals things he's lost due to debt

Beleaguered businessman Emmanuel Lwasa revealed how he has lots of assets because of debts, especially the Shs700 million he needs to service his loan with Equity Bank.

In recent media interviews, Lwasa has discussed his current predicament, looking back on his past and what the future holds for him. Below are some takeaways:

  1. Lost his  Mercedes-Benz G-Class, colloquially known as the G-Wagon.
  2. Lost tents he used to rent out and he currently no longer has a source of income.
  3. He said the younger kids are being taken care of by siblings.
  4. President Yoweri Museveni had promised to clear his debt of about Shs700 million but he says Minister Omona frustrated everything. He says if the president can help clear his debt, he'll be fine.
  5. He says he is suffering from diabetes and he almost went to ICU during his recent admission to the hospital.
  6. He jokingly said his ex-girlfriend Vanessa Vanny who ripped him off ahead of their aborted wedding plans survived the problems he is going through.
  7. He has lost 10 trailer trucks and six Fuso trucks.
  8. He said he is no longer dating because of what he is going through. "I think feelings are dead."
  9. The bank is about to take the three-story building that houses Club Tavern Kick at Kyabakuza Township along the Masaka-Mbarara Highway. The building, which was constructed in 2015, sits on a 200 by 70ft. space and it is valued at Shs4.5 billion.
  10. He said women didn't take a lot of his money, so he doesn't attribute his problems to them.
  11. He is being taken care of by his daughter and maids.
  12. He said he'll avoid women when he gets money again.
  13. He said Angel gave birth but she refused to send him the full picture of the baby, only sharing a snap of its hand.
  14. That they've been seeing each other even after splitting.
