Evelyn Namulondo says B2C call her 'mummy', reveals how she first met Bobi Wine

According to the actress, Bobi Wine used to visit her grandmother and that's how she met him and most of the artists under his label Fire Base Crew.

"I met Fire Base people when I was young," she said during a media interview. "Bobi Wine used to meet my grandmother... I know almost everyone in Fire Base."

Namulondo spent some of her formative years at her grandmother's and left when she is in Primary Seven after she became undisciplined and the grandmother decided to send her back to her mother.

Evelyn Namulondo is now also friends with Barbie Itungo, the wife of Wine, real name Robert Kyagulanyi.

"They are good people... if you are a good person, they will bring you close," Namulondo said of the Kyagulanyi family.

During the media interview, Namulondo reiterated her stance that she is buddies with Kampala Boys, alias B2C, continuing to dismiss rumours that she's romantically involved with one of the group members.

"They are my brothers," she said, "they usually call me mummy... We are family."

The singing trio has a song with Rema, who is Namulondo's close friend. Gutujja is one of the crew's popular songs and it played a fundamental role in cementing their position in the music industry.

Namulondo also noted that her "relationship with Eddy Kenzo," Rema's baby daddy, "is good..."

"He is my brother," she said.

Evelyn Namulondo is set to hold a show dubbed The Best of Evelyn Namulondo: From Zero to Hero at Theatre Labonita.

The actress, who has been involved in the entertainment industry since she was in Primary Seven, will hold the show in Kampala on August 3.
