Born Annet Nambooze, on October 10, 1992 (TBC), Oze grew up in Lungujja, Rubaga Division in Kampala.

She's from a family of four and she is the third-born. Her parents divorced when she was still in primary school and the grandfather took custody of them.

Her granddad is Waswa Lule, son of former President of Uganda Yusuf Kironde Lule

Anna Talia Oze went to Lungujja Nursery School, St. Mary's Nabbingo, Lungujja Hill Primary School, Alliance Secondary School in Lungujja for O-Level (owned by the grandfather), before joining Old Kampala S.S. for A-Level.

After S.6, she joined Makerere University where she obtained a Bachelor of Arts in Education (Literature in English).

She did her teaching practice at King's College Budo.

Oze got her first television gig in S.6 vacation at Urban TV.

While still in A-Level, she was introduced to Miles Rwamiti, who was with Vision Group.

She initially didn't get a TV gig, so they encouraged her to write. That kept her around Vision Group.

When Urban TV started, she came up with the idea of a university-leaning show dubbed Campus 1on1 and she was given a slot.

She was fired from Urban TV after three years, then joined Record TV and left after six months for a gig at Delta TV, where she also quit after five months to join Spark TV.

She has also had a stint at Radio 4, owned by businessman Balaam Barugahara.

She left Spark TV in 2018 to join Next Media, which owns among other entities NBS TV and Sanyuka TV. Oze also ran for Rubaga North Lord Woman Councillor in 2021 and lost.
