The charges were pressed by his ex-lover one Abdul Aziz Kilooto when Grenade appeared to have a problem accepting that their relationship was over.
Singer Deus Ndugwa, popularly known by stage name Grenade, has been released on court bond and scheduled for a second hearing on 29th June 2022. The artist was arrested on charges of 'Criminal Trespassing and Threatening Violence' on Tuesday in Munyonyo.

He pleaded not guilty to all charges against him and was let off with a warning. He is to appear again in court at the end of the month.

Ms. Abdul is currently in pursuit of her iPhone and Apple watch that Grenade allegedly made off with. She explained that she can't access her accounts which were logged into with the gadgets.
"Grenade took my iPhone, I now don’t have access to my bank accounts. He has my Apple Watch and I just want my items returned. I want him to leave me alone and I don’t want him to text me or send people looking for me. He should understand that our relationship is over," Abdul said.
It appears that the accessories are the last tie the singer is holding onto to stay in her life.
