Lukoma responded: Who said?
Interviewer: Kateleya?
Lukoma: Who is that, the one with protruding teeth?
Interviewer: Yes. The one who looks Rwandan. [Most people think the Rwandan-looking one is Kateleya, but she is Kandle.]
Lukoma: What did she base on to say that?
In a recent interview, Kandle, real name Rebecca Nabatuusa, undermined Lukoma's music catalog. Earlier, Lukoma had been asked to give Kateleya & Kandle advice since she has history of singing in groups, but she declined.
Hellen Lukoma said that she is not in a position to give them advice because she doesn't like offering unsolicited advice.
She, however, noted that the duo is doing great musically.
"I appreciate their music," she said, charm offensive style.
Lukoma called herself "a queen", adding that queens don't attack each other.
"You are a princess," she said, referring to Kandle, "they are still moving in a ki-bus that transports bread."
She added: "One day you will go solo... and maybe that's when we shall sit down and talk."
Lukoma said she is looking for Kandle.
"I'm not looking for you as a friend," said Hellen Lukoma, "but as a parent, because I have kids... when I see you, we shall sit down and talk."
She said she will never abuse a fellow artiste.
"I'm a queen," doubled down Lukoma, "you are still a prince. You're coming where I've been. So, I know your journey but you don't know my journey."
Added Lukoma: "I'm a miracle maker, so don't play with me. I'm a mother... girl, don't attack your parents, I'm a mother... I'm an old woman. I won't deny that."
Hellen Lukoma said that she a fan of Kateleya & Kandle.
